Arrow to the Summit Community Service Initiative

In a final project push for the upcoming West Virginia’s Arrow to the Summit Community Service Initiative, Governor Justice will be hosting a press conference today at 1:00 pm in the Governor’s press room.
Citizens Conservation Corps and the Boy Scouts of America will join the Governor for the press conference. This year’s six days of service will build upon the success of the 2013 initiative–which saw 352 community service projects completed in nine counties in five days with an economic impact of $ 5 million.
The initiative identifies and develops meaningful community service projects to be completed by visiting boy scouts from across the nation during National Scout Jamboree. The jamboree is scheduled for July 19th-29th.
