Bluefield, WV (WOAY) – Many players are responsible for Bluefield’s run through the 2017 high school football season, with Chandler Cooper stepping up Saturday against Point Pleasant.
In his first year as the starting quarterback for the Beavers, Cooper has transformed confidence into consistent play, as Bluefield has transferred their high level of play from the regular season to the Class AA playoffs.
The Beavers will host Bridgeport Friday evening in the state semifinals at 7:30.
