    Clerk Sprayed With Pepper Spray, Robbed


    PRINCETON– Deputies with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department responded Tuesday morning when a local business’s clerk was pepper sprayed and robbed.

    The robbery was reported 2:30 a.m. at Rosie’s on Oakvale Road near Princeton, according to Capt. Joe Parks. Upon arrival, deputies found that the store clerk had been pepper sprayed by the robber and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

    Witnesses interviewed by law enforcement reported that the robbery suspect was a white male with a groomed beard. He is approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall and of average weight.
