    HS Boys Basketball – Greenbrier West @ Fayetteville


    Fayetteville, WV (WOAY) – Fayetteville boys basketball entered Tuesday night looking to advance to 17-0, while Greenbrier West had won their last two games, looking for a third straight win.

    The two met in Fayette County, with the Pirates establishing momentum in the first quarter, going on to win 64-32 and remain unbeaten.

    Marcus Lively led the Pirates with 13 points, while Luke Vass added 10, and Ricky Meadows closed in on 1,000 career points. Adam Johnson had 11 points for Greenbrier West, enjoying success on mid-range shots in the first quarter.

    The Pirates head to Valley on Friday, while the Cavaliers visit Independence Wednesday.
