WOAY – Swiss tennis legend Martina Hingis will be coming to the Greenbrier next month to take part in the resort’s Champions Tennis Classic.
Hingis is a former world #1 singles player, having won five Grand Slam singles championships. 2017 marks 20 years since she won the first three of those five, at the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and US Open.
She remains a top player in both women’s and mixed doubles today, ranked fifth in the WTA. She has a total of 12 Grand Slam doubles titles.
Hingis will join Venus Williams, James Blake and Greenbrier Tennis Pro Emeritus Pete Sampras for the Classic on September 16 & 17.
