    Mercer Residents Invited to Meet With Legislators


    CHARLESTON– Mercer County residents will have an opportunity to meet with state officials on Thursday, March 2 in Charleston.

    The meetings will be from 2:00PM – 4:30PM in the Governor’s conference room near the office of the Secretary of State. There is no charge to attend the afternoon session and you are encouraged to participate.

    Scheduled during the afternoon are remarks by Governor Jim Justice (invited) and presentations including: Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Education, The Attorney General’s Office, Secretary of Commerce and Division of Tourism. These meetings offer you the opportunity to discuss issues of interest to the county.

    A reception and dinner with our Legislators will be held at the Charleston Marriott beginning at 6:00PM on the 2 nd . Reservations for the dinner are necessary and should be made by contacting either Chamber. The cost for dinner is $60.00 per person.
