    UPDATE: Over 3,000 Customers Without Power In Raleigh County

    RALEIGH COUNTY (WOAY)- Appalachian Power is reporting that around 3,500 people are without power in Raleigh County.

    Most of the area affected is in Beckley. This outage happened around 2pm.

    The cause of the outage is from a distribution center, which is an outage due to a transformer. AEP says on their website that power should be restored to all customers by 6:30pm.
